On The Road To Feeding More Families

Northshore Food Bank’s new box truck is officially on the road! This exciting milestone strengthens our ability to transport thousands of pounds of food each week, ensuring pantries stay stocked and no neighbor in need is left behind. The truck will be used daily to pick up donations and deliver essential groceries to families throughout St. Tammany Parish. It will also broaden our reach on the east side of the parish as we continue to grow our programs in Slidell, and allow us to make direct deliveries to elementary schools enrolled in our Kids Weekend Food Program.

None of this would have been possible without the generosity of Louisiana Healthcare Connections, whose longtime support has made both of our box trucks possible, and CGB Enterprises, Inc. Their investment in the fight against hunger on the Northshore is more than a gift, It directly boosts the health and stability of our community as a whole. This commitment helps Northshore Food Bank stay reliable for every neighbor who depends on us.

Every mile this truck drives represents another step toward building a stronger, healthier St. Tammany Parish. From homebound seniors living on fixed incomes, to children who rely on weekend food bags, to families working hard to make ends meet, the impact of this vehicle will be felt across every program we offer.
