All vehicles must enter through the back gate on W 29th Avenue to pick up food.
We will conduct a brief registration in our food line for your first distribution. After this, you will be required to provide additional information to determine if you are eligible for our program. Our food pick up and registration procedures are outlined below:
- We are open Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9am – 12noon.
- You will be asked a few self-identification questions as part of your first visit. There is no need to bring documentation on your first visit.
- At the distribution station you will be asked to remain in your car. Our volunteers will load the boxes in your vehicle. Please make sure you have adequate space available for 2 boxes of food. Our Staple Box averages 35lbs of shelf stable food, and contents of our Lagniappe Box varies with fresh and frozen items.
For continued food assistance, you will be required to complete registration. Registration takes place on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays from 9am-11:30am. You will meet with a Food Bank volunteer and provide documentation for all requested information.
The following information is required:
- Proof of residence;
- Provide a physical address (no P.O. boxes will be accepted);
- Meet USDA Income Guidelines;
- Gross Income (Income before taxes/deductions) for all living in the household OR
- Receive SSI
- Must provide following information for all people living full time in the household: Full Name, Date of Birth, Relationship to You, Race, Gender, and Employment Status;
- You cannot be enrolled or receiving food from any other food pantry.
