Funding Focus

Northshore Food Bank is proud to share recent grant funding that helps to keep our shelves stocked and our programs strong.
  • The Pratt-Stanton Manor Fund of the Greater New Orleans Foundation has been a steadfast partner of Northshore Food Bank for many years, and their continued investment strengthens our Senior Food Program, providing monthly groceries to older adults living on fixed incomes.
  • With funding from Capital One, our Staple Food Box Program continues to provide households across St. Tammany Parish with nutritious food items each month.  Starbucks, through its Neighborhood Grants program, contributes to this program as well, enabling Northshore Food Bank to reach even more families in need.
  • Northshore Community Foundation’s Community Impact Grant supports our Kids Weekend Food Program, and ensures children have reliable meals each weekend when they might otherwise go without.
Each of these grants directly impacts our neighbors in need in St. Tammany Parish; families stretching paychecks, children who count on the Kids Weekend Food Program to stay fed throughout the weekend, and seniors living on fixed incomes. We are grateful to these organizations for helping ensure no one in our community goes hungry!
